Dull and Weem Parish Church

Welcome

Choir

The present building has a long history of music starting with the boys choir from the building origins as the Menzies family chapel. Many younger members of the Menzies clan were encourage to be choir boys. This picture is from the early 1900's taken at the church door.

It would seem that it was a tradition of the church to have choir trips. This shows an early one at Loch na Craig above Aberfeldy in the 1930's

This picture is a more formal one of the choir in the 1930's

Trips continued after the second world war with this one in 1949 to Arbroath

The church was also well represented in  the Weem Gaelic Choir of the 1950's as seen here. You may recognise some of the members.

The tradition of music in the churc has continued with the Weem Singing Group.
