Breathe Out
In Partnership with The Breathe Project, Aberfeldy.
I am Jamie Pringle, and I am the youth worker as part of the Dull and Weem Parish ‘Breathe Out’ youth project, in partnership with The Breathe Project. Since 2019, I have been working to establish contact with young people in more rural locations across highland Perthshire, such as; Weem, Dull, Kenmore, Killin, Kinloch Rannoch, Tummel Bridge, including in the schools, and a focus of my initial work is to establish a transport system for young people to access services held across Highland Perthshire.
If you would like to access this transport network, come and speak to me during Thursday lunch time in Breadalbane Academy or in Pitlochry High School on a Friday lunch time.
Our projects aim is to meet the practical needs of children and young people in rural highland Perthshire who face multiple barriers around isolation, including: poor mental health; lack of youth activities or a safe place to go; lack of employability skills and opportunities; and lack of aspiration. The main age group would be aged 10 – 19.
